Operator manual

Install Operator

Install Operator on Raspberry Pi 5-class hardware, a mini PC, a Linux server or Docker.

Hardware

Raspberry Pi 5-class boards, mini PCs and Linux servers (arm64 or amd64) are supported; Docker works for evaluation. A local model runs on-device, so 8 GB RAM is the practical minimum for the default model.

Install from your claim page

  1. Download the Debian package (arm64 or amd64) and the signed release manifest from your claim page.
  2. Verify the SHA-256 checksum and the detached signature before installing.
  3. Install the package and start the service; the appliance boots in trial mode.
  4. Run alcyone-operator selfcheck - every capability path is exercised and any missing hardware degrades honestly instead of crashing.

Activate your licence

Run alcyone-operator activate <claim-id> with the claim id from your order page. The appliance mints a persistent installation identity, fetches your licence from the entitlement service and installs it only after the Ed25519 signature verifies. Two installations can be active at the same time, with self-service deactivation on the order page.
