One readable test language.
Web, API, Android and iOS.
Entirely on your hardware.
Tester is an on-prem test automation appliance: your QA team writes plain-language suites once, and the same suite drives browsers, HTTP APIs, Android devices and iOS simulators, with enterprise access control, audit, and AI-assisted suite generation that never sends your data outside your building.
- On-prem and offline-capable
- Multi-project + RBAC
- SSO (OIDC/SAML) + SCIM
- Metadata-only audit
- Local AI (Ollama)
- Runs on a Raspberry Pi
Tests your whole team can read
No page objects, no framework boilerplate. A suite is a text file. The runner infers which drivers each case needs and opens only those.

Built for teams that cannot use cloud test SaaS
Fintech, healthcare, public sector: if your test data, credentials and pre-release builds must stay inside your network, Tester was designed for you.
Four platforms, one suite
Web (Selenium), API (built-in HTTP client with contract checks), Android and iOS (Appium). Capabilities are inferred per test case from the steps themselves.
Enterprise access control
Multi-project workspaces with org and project roles, enterprise invitations, session revocation. Authorization is enforced server-side, deny by default.
SSO and SCIM
OIDC (Authorization Code + PKCE) and SAML identity providers; SCIM 2.0 provisioning with hashed bearer tokens. Secrets are write-only and encrypted at rest.
AI that stays home
Point it at a URL and it explores the page and writes a replayable suite, using a local Ollama model by default. External AI providers are admin opt-in behind an allowlist with redaction.
Isolated, auditable runs
Every run gets its own report and artifacts, scoped to project and run identity. Control-plane actions land in a searchable, exportable, metadata-only audit log.
Appliance operations
Encrypted portable backup and restore, signed updates with rollback, support bundles, storage and retention policies, all manageable from one settings surface.
The whole control plane in one place
Users and roles, SSO and SCIM, runners and devices, AI providers, license, GitHub and Jira, audit, backup and updates. Changes are authorized and audited by the server.
Licensing
Per appliance and support tier. Capacity is not license-metered: an on-prem appliance runs as many jobs as its hardware allows.

Fits your identity stack
Bring your own IdP: generic OIDC or SAML, including Microsoft Entra ID configurations. Providers appear on the login page only after runtime validation of your public URL and identity authorities.
Hardware it actually runs on
Verified by running the product, not by a spec sheet. The same suites executed unmodified on Windows, a Raspberry Pi 5 edge node, and an Apple Silicon Mac driving an iOS simulator and an Android emulator.
| Profile | Suggested hardware | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Secure Edge Node | Raspberry Pi 5, 16 GB, SSD | Web / API / one mobile job at the edge; local AI exclusive |
| Department Appliance | Mac mini (Apple Silicon) | iOS + Android black-box with separate device leases |
| Enterprise Appliance | Linux, 8+ vCPU, 32+ GB RAM | Parallel web/API jobs; edge runners attach to it |
Measured, not marketed
We only advertise what we have run. Concurrency for each profile is certified on your exact image during the pilot, not copied from a brochure. Current control-plane database is SQLite; PostgreSQL support is on the roadmap.
Controlled pilot: 4 to 6 weeks, fixed price
We install on your hardware (or lend an appliance), automate an agreed set of your real test cases across web, API and mobile, integrate one CI pipeline, and hand you the evidence. The pilot fee is credited against your license.
