Bug intake and fixing
The public form accepts a deliberately small report without an account or email address. Cloudflare Turnstile, rate limits and bounded fields protect the endpoint. Accepted reports receive a tracking ID, are redacted again and are delivered to Alcyone Systems' private engineering issue tracker. Credentials, screenshots, crash files and customer test data are not uploaded automatically.
Reports are reproduced and prioritized by impact, security relevance and reproducibility. A tracking ID proves receipt; it is not a public issue URL or a fixed resolution-time promise. Suspected vulnerabilities should be sent privately to support@alcyone-systems.com.
Release integrity
A release is produced from a clean Git commit only after the platform and product quality gates pass. Every installer is content-addressed by SHA-256, accompanied by a CycloneDX SBOM and an independently signed artifact manifest, then listed in an Ed25519-signed release index. The appliance verifies its pinned Alcyone signing key before staging.
Package-manager installations are updated by that package manager; Tester does not run a competing installer. Homebrew is live for the macOS arm64 package. The WinGet submission is under Microsoft review, and the public APT hostname is not advertised as live until it serves the signed repository metadata. The download page is the current channel-status record.
Activation and recovery
An organization administrator may check, download and stage a signed build from Tester. Activation and rollback remain explicit, audited operations. A failed dashboard process is restarted by the host service manager with backoff; process recovery never sends crash data or changes the installed build.
Support window
A Tester 1.x license keeps the installed major version usable without runtime expiry. It includes 12 months of feature updates from purchase and security updates through at least 31 August 2031. Support dates control update entitlement, not whether existing suites continue to run.
