Licence grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Alcyone Systems grants one organisation a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Operator major version 1 on no more than two of that organisation's appliances at the same time.
Perpetual major-version use
The right to run Operator 1.x is perpetual unless the agreement ends because of a refund, chargeback or material breach. There is no subscription expiry and no runtime support-date check.
Updates and security support
Feature updates released during the 12 months following purchase are included; an active Care plan extends feature-update access while it remains active. Security updates are available through at least 31 August 2031. A support date controls access to later packages; it does not stop an already licensed installation.
Activation
Each installation has a random installation identifier. The entitlement service allows two active identifiers and supports self-service deactivation.
AI outputs and approvals
Operator produces output from AI models. Output can be wrong. Operator's approval gate exists so that consequential actions wait for a human decision; the licensee is responsible for actions it approves and for reviewing output before relying on it. Alcyone Systems does not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
Local processing and optional cloud
By default all model inference runs on the appliance. If the licensee enables the optional cloud brain, task text is transmitted to the AI provider the licensee configures, under the licensee's own provider account and subject to that provider's terms; the licensee is responsible for the lawfulness of that transfer. Integrations the licensee configures (for example email accounts) are operated under the licensee's own credentials.
